Hi there! My name is Rick and I welcome you to my blog.

Although I have been trained as a Computer Scientist and working in the Silicon Valley on Web search and personalization, I enjoy a lot of things that do not require typing on a keyboard! For one thing, I love photography. For another, I also do a lot of traveling whenever I can. Hence the name of my blog, TrekkingPixel.
